Earthquake shocks in Punjab and KPK including Islamabad



A 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit various parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and Islamabad on September 11, 2024. Tremors were felt in cities like Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, and Swat, causing panic but no significant damage or casualties were reported. The earthquake originated near Dera Ghazi Khan at a depth of 10 kilometers. The shockwaves were also felt in parts of India and Afghanistan.
